Hello people. My name is Pete. I realise that this is not the designated display arena, but the paucity of my computer skill has forced my hand. So here you are; A small selection of work. white light

I went to see anthony gormley's exhibtion at the hayward. its amazing. wasnt madly excited by the wire sculptures or that cloud thing.
the way the space and the sculptures work together, the way he makes you explore the actual space you are in. the best is the landscape and the people randomly placed in the skyline. everyone enjoys it. the white light thing where everyone enjoys the experience on their own but then you see them searching and calling out to ensure that there is someone out there'with' them. like a crazy game of hide and seek.
the rigid and solid figures.
especially the block of concrete with the hollow middle made from the cast of his body. its him still - a direct contact of the human presence and sterile, harsh and solid materials.
love it.

just to let you know that there's a crazee event in hoxton sq tonight if anyone's in london where, in order to mark the beginning of a new era in art or something, they're giving away peices of art to people. i'm definately going to check it out.

also...has anyone seen the new white cube in mason's yard? and Hirst's "For the love of God"? its wicked...that's what i want to happen to me when i die. its so glamourous and defined. a serious piece of bling. although you cant help feel that it's a real persons skull which gives it a really creepy feeling.

am going to the hayward at somepoint soon if anyone's interested in coming too.

hey guys...i'm now officially moving to london in a week. should be fun and a good way to get to know london. does anyone know of any good exhibitions or some unusual - possibly derelict and dirty - places that are worth going to visit. and if anyone's around and wants to join me...

also - pancake...do you have any details that i could check out the random artists on?
